Spring has come, and so the new season of anime has descended upon us.
As I’m too lazy to write a proper post, this will just be my dumb take on this season’s anime (so far, one episode in).
The Good Stuff On the Angry Urinalist-scale(tm), these will likely have your average anime news-writer frothing in pure anger.

I should preface this post by saying that I was never and wont ever bother to invested too much time “getting into” Attack on Titan’s story. The first season was great in that way an action shounen anime is, but I never cared much beyond that. As such, it should also go without saying that this critique, or whatever I should call it, will not be too detailed, and will no doubt get things wrong and so on.

Here at Arse Monster we’ve many a time showcased our favorites in anime, along with a selection of the weirder ones. However, after seeing the massive success of posts prior where the main topic is to take a dump on random anime, the idea of a post featuring the universally beloved “Top N”-list came to mind.
So yeah, today we’re diving into the murkier seas of anime and taking a look at what the sewage drains of Japanimation has to offer.

Tencent has through Sixjoy Hong Kong Limited, wholly owned by Tencent Holdings Limited, acquired 6.86% of Kadokawa Corporation.
While Tencent already owns significant portions of branch companies of Kadokawa, they’ve now managed to set their claws into the main business. Which will, of course, have absolutely no impact on how the future of the company will look like.
Any fan of Japanese media – including anime, manga, light novels, etc – will no doubt be sweating right about now.

Summer hast cometh, and so the anime of the season has begun airing. Let’s dive into this seasons’ lineup and check what’s worth a watch and what will end up in the trash where it belongs.

Note: The post will be updated as more shows has aired and we’ve had time to watch and assess them. If a show isn’t listed, even after it’s aired, then either we just haven’t watch it yet, or it simply means your favorite show is shit and has no place here.

Now, before we dive into any reviewing let’s first make one thing very clear: You do not want to watch any of the regular streaming versions, and this goes for all the various “uncensored” versions out there. So, while there will be a more detailed breakdown of the differences between the different versions, the gist is that the BD is superior to the AT-X version, which is in a whole other world that the standard streaming version.
