I should start off this post by saying that I don't actually give much of a crap about any of the "talents" that this company employs, nor do I care for Nux's persona or his content.
With that said, I can't help but want to side with the Taco on this one. For one, every single claim that the company and its "talents" has made doesn't add up, and considering a certain character's historic statements on him, and their position within the company, I really do feel like she might've had something to do with it all.
Now, don't get me wrong here, I'll, once again, just go ahead and make it crystal clear that I borderline hate Nux Taku's type of content. That said, I equally dislike people who run around and spew wild accusations about others with no evidence. From the whole "MeToo"-fad, to the overall "outrage culture" that the internet and social media has promoted, is a nothing short of a vile disease on this planet.
I'm not sure what "the girls" and their employing company thought would come from blindly going with the flow and jumping in and claiming stuff they obviously had no evidence for would lead to. Herd mentality at its finest, I guess. Then again, perhaps modern society constantly reinforcing the idea of "outrage first, then reflect and forget" could have something to do with it...
I won't tell others what vtubers to like/watch or not, but this whole thing has definitely made one thing clear to myself: to stay clear of these kind of people. So, going forwards, I'll be sticking with a select few of Hololive, and mainly Nijisanji from now on.
Just in case anyone forgot about this old "dumb, offensive and gross" thing:
The original statement is apparently gone, but here's a archive.
Oh, and yes, the title is the way it is at least in part to make sure not to boost the SEO of the company name. Okay, sure, I'll have a minuscule impact (at best), but still. Though, to be completely honest, I constantly mistype the blasted name with an extra "U" in there... Frankly, I feel like implying that any of the streamers in the company's roster are "virgins" is, er...not quite right. Make what you will of that statement.
Also, I was supposed to post this way earlier, but, eh...life's a bitch.
